Proton Pricing AI is a coming-soon price optimization module for distributors. It will recommend a price for each customer and SKU, using your margins and the customer's buying history within the rules you set. The goal is to protect margin and make pricing decisions more consistent, giving reps a better starting point in the quote than cost-plus alone or a price remembered from last time.
Yes. Reps will be able to accept, adjust, or override a Proton Pricing AI recommendation in the quote, subject to the approval rules you set. The recommendation will give them a starting point backed by buying history and margin. Their knowledge of the customer will still have a place in the decision.
Yes. Proton connects to any ERP, or several at once, and your ERP remains the system of record. Proton's in-house engineers build the connection. The coming-soon Pricing AI module will use that connected data for recommendations, with your team defining the pricing records, rules, and quoting workflow the integration needs to support.
Proton Quote & Order Entry Automation turns customer requests into drafts using your connected catalog, customer pricing, and inventory. The separate, coming-soon Pricing AI module will add recommendations for what to charge each customer and SKU. Both use Proton's shared data layer, so pricing guidance can work from the same customer, order, and product records as the drafted quote.
Proton is one of the only distributor platforms with a SOC 2 Type II report. Your pricing data stays yours, with encryption and access controls your IT team can review, and it is never used to train AI models.
