Does this replace my eCommerce site?

No. Proton is not an eCommerce platform. Proton’s eCommerce AI integrates with your eCommerce platform to supercharge your online store with hyper-personalized product recommendations that increase sales.

How does Proton’s AI decide what to recommend to customers?

Our recommendations are powered by a complete view of your customers. We analyze data from your ERP and eCommerce platforms, including order history, product attributes, purchasing patterns, and customer behavior. This analysis identifies frequently bought-together products, similar items, and customer-specific buying trends, enabling timely, relevant, and highly accurate predictions.

Where do the recommendations display on our website?

This is customizable and can be used across your site and channels, including product detail pages (similar or alternative items), cart and checkout pages (reorder or cart-completion suggestions), the homepage (buy-again items), and post-purchase emails.

How does the integration work with our eCommerce platform?

Proton exposes an API with recommendations; the customer's dev team plugs it into their site. Pixel tracking captures "viewed online" behavior. Magento and other major platforms are commonly supported.

Do I need engineering support to implement Proton eCommerce AI?
