Secure by design

SOC 2 Type II certified

An outside auditor tests our systems every year. They verify we can't access your data without your permission, that deleted data actually gets deleted, and that our employees go through background checks. You get a copy of the audit report if you ask for it.

Encrypted at rest & in transit

Your data gets scrambled with AES-256 encryption when we store it (same standard banks use). When it moves between your ERP and our servers, it travels over SFTP—which encrypts all the data securely.

SSO & SAML

If you use Microsoft Azure AD or Okta for company logins, Proton plugs into it. When someone leaves your company and you disable their account, they automatically lose Proton access. No orphaned logins sitting around.

Role-based permissions

You control who sees what. You set the rules once; we enforce them everywhere in the system. Reps, managers, and admins only see the data they’re supposed to.

Daily backups

We snapshot your Proton data every 24 hours and keep it for 90 days. If someone deletes a deal record by accident or you need to recover a corrupted file, we can roll back to any point in the last three months.

Read-only ERP access

Proton reads from your ERP. It doesn't write back unless you explicitly configure a two-way sync. That means a rep can't accidentally create a customer record in Eclipse or change credit terms in Prophet 21 from inside Proton. Your ERP stays the source of truth.
